One of Eric's favorite things besides wine and food is flowers. In fact, Eric Christensen used to be a florist before he became a professional artist. Maybe Eric Christensen's floristry background has prepared him for composing the paintings that beg to be viewed and admired.
"The "Color Convention" adds a dramatic statement of color to any art collection. The colorful gerbera daisies seem to be conversing with each other as they bend to hear what each other have to say. Some even appear to be stretching to make their point with their neighbors in the next container! The original, created for Christensen's mother is proudly displayed above the fireplace in her home. The complexity and texture of the petals on this piece are amazing and have the look and feel of velvet. The "Color Convention" stands as another testimony to the watercolor genius of Eric Christensen.

All prints use the Canvas Giclee process, which utilizes museum-quality, archival inks, canvas and supports. Prints are created with your choice of three mounting options: 3/4″ stapled sides, which are visible from the side of the canvas and require framing. The popular "Gallery Wrap" Giclee allows for the image to be mirrored and printed on the sides of the canvas. These Gallery Wrap prints may be hung framed or unframed as you choose. Additionally, a protective coating is applied to the surface of each canvas print. All gallery wrapped prints arrive ready to hang.
